Recipe: Peach Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 6 Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers (wear gloves when handling!)
  • 2 cups ripe peaches (pitted and chopped)
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (white vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 pinch Allspice (adjust to taste)
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Peppers:
    • Wear gloves to protect your hands from the intense heat of the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers.
    • Roughly chop the peppers, removing the stems and seeds.
  2. Blend the Base:
    • In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped peppers, peaches, orange juice, scallions, brown sugar, and lime juice.
    • Blend until you have a smooth mixture.
  3. Cook the Sauce:
    • Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepan.
