🌱 LEON ROESSTORFF: FROM SEED TO SAUCE

Leon Roesstorff’s chilli journey began in 2019 with just 100 chilli plants in his urban garden. Originally grown for their health benefits, Leon soon discovered a deeper passion for cultivating and experimenting with peppers. From those humble beginnings, he built the Exotic Chillies SA brand, creating 14 unique products and earning a loyal customer base.

Today, under Scoville Republic (Pty) Ltd, Leon continues to oversee every step of the process—from selecting the best seeds to developing bold and flavourful sauces. His seedlings and chilli biltong are so popular that many customers order them a year in advance. Leon’s commitment to authenticity and quality ensures that every product reflects his belief: good food begins with good ingredients, grown with care.
