Description: The Maldivian Heart x Purple Bhut chili plant grows to approximately 60-70 cm tall. Its dense foliage showcases green leaves adorned with striking dark green and purple veins, complemented by similarly hued stems. The flowers are noteworthy for their mauve colouration. However, the most captivating feature is the transformation of its pods. Initially, they appear in a unique purple-green shade, evolving through stages of purple, orange-purple, and ultimately maturing into a vibrant red with deep crimson undertones.
This variety offers a fruity flavour profile with hints of citrus and mild floral notes. While not extremely spicy, it delivers a punch with a heat level ranging from 600,000 to 800,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). The burn is well-balanced, lingering pleasantly on the front of the palate.
