Description: According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Bhut Jolokia Red, commonly known as the Ghost Pepper, once held the title of the world’s hottest chili. It surpassed another previous champion—the Red Savina habanero—by being twice as hot. Ripe peppers measure 6 to 8.5 cm in length and 2.5 to 3 cm in width. This Sub-Cultivar is slightly more Gnarly than expected and has been grown out separately of the traditional Bhut Jolokia lineage.
