Recipe: Peach Habanero Hot Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 2 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 3-4 fresh habanero peppers (adjust based on desired heat level)
Instructions:
  1. In a saucepan, combine the diced peaches, chopped sweet onion, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and sea salt.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the habanero peppers to the saucepan. Adjust the quantity based on how spicy you want the hot sauce to be.
  4. Continue simmering for an additional 10 minutes or until the peaches and onions are soft.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  6. Transfer the contents of the saucepan to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more salt or sugar as desired.
  8. Pour the hot sauce into a sterilized glass bottle or jar.
  9. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.
