The wrinkled, wedge-shaped fruit ripens from green to fiery red, and you can harvest it at either stage. Its slightly thicker walls and juicier flesh set it apart from its Naga Morich cousin. At 5 to 8 cm long, it looks like a ghost pepper with a unique complexion.
